Year-round outdoor
recreation awaits.

The recreational program at Blackfish Resort offers sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, kite-boarding, kite surfing and scuba diving. Beyond the resort, Point Roberts boasts four unique marine parks, all less than 10 minutes away. Lighthouse Park, with its picnic areas and pier, is just down the beach. Lily Point and Monument Parks offer hiking trails, vistas, and spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities. The expanse of pristine, sandy tidal flats at Maple Beach offers beach-goers the opportunity to wade, swim, and build sandcastles.

Take a walking tour of the on-site organic gardens, greenhouse, and orchard. Sit and relax in the meditation garden, and then make your way along the trails to the beach. Do a bit of beach-combing, but be sure to look up every now and then to observe the local wildlife, including bald eagles, blue herons, cormorants, harbor seals, sea lions, and the orca whales for which Blackfish Resort is named. During the summer, daily visits by the whales are common.

In winter months, just two hours north enjoy the spectacular skiing, snow boarding and cross country skiing  and vistas of Whistler Blackcomb.
